Who are MANUMALO and why you should shop with us?

Manumalo (meaning victory in the Samoan language) is the name of our company, but why is this relevant to us? Four young lads from Hertfordshire came together in the summer of 2023 who all shared a passion for playing sports.

 

We asked the question to ourselves of what we can do to make a difference to our sporting performance? Many ideas were thrown around but when the idea of 'grip socks' came up there was a mutual agreement that this is something we could build upon. That is how we came up with the product idea. 

 

I'm sure you are now wondering about the Samoan aspect of our product. Well, a combination of school Design and Tech projects and stories from ex England and British lions fly half Charlie Hodgson about the talent of some of his ex Samoan team mates (The likes of former tight-head prop James Johnston)  left us awe inspired by the Samoan rugby culture. After spending hours of research, we came up with the design around the calf band.
